Background
It has taken about three years of preparation to get the International Journal for Social Forestry (IJSF) off our conceptual shelves and into your hands. It was initiated in 2006 by individuals and institutions concerned with social forestry issues, prepared for publication since 2007, and first published in June 2008.
Scope
The theme of IJSF articles is on social aspects of forest management, community-based management of forest-related resources, and forest governance and policy

Language
The article should be written in English.

Board of Editors
The members of Board of Editors come from many countries, such as Canada, Italy, Germany, Japan, Pakistan, and Indonesia.

Peer Reviewers
IJSF peer reviewers are scientists selected by the Board of Editors based on their expertises to review the submitted articles. The peer reviewers also come from many countries.

Publisher
The publisher is CSF.

As a biannual journal, IJSF is published in June and December
